Recruitment Fraud Alert

Unauthorized individuals claiming to be Lithia Motors recruiters are extending false employment offers to steal money and personal information from job seekers. These scams use legitimate job boards, social media platforms, and may use unauthorized Lithia Motors logos, employee names, and titles. The perpetrators might require an initial investment, such as a payment for work visa, investment in gift cards to pay for equipment, or will send a check that allows them to gain access to the job seeker's account once the check is deposited.

Lithia Motors takes recruitment fraud seriously. By raising awareness, Lithia Motors hopes to prevent job seekers from falling victim to these scams. If you believe a communication is fraudulent do not engage and report the fraudulent activity immediately.

Lithia Motors, at our corporate office or through any of our dealerships, will never request money or credit card information for an applicant to secure a job. Lithia Motors also does not require individuals to release personal data—such as an address, social security number, tax documents, or banking information—early in the interview process. Beware of schemes that require the job seeker to create an online account, potentially to collect personal information using a counterfeit website.

Lithia Motors representatives communicate and transmit job offers using email addresses that end with Lithia Motors does not conduct job interviews through texting platforms such as Chat Works and does not connect with Homebase through Facebook Jobs. A formal interview will be conducted, usually in person or through verified video conferencing sites such as WebEx or Microsoft Teams, prior to extending an offer. Interviews are NEVER conducted exclusively over texting platforms. Job offers from free webmail accounts—such as,, or—are not legitimate. Candidates can reach Lithia Motors representatives at or at any of our local dealership through publicly published telephone numbers.
